Hello Members,

Our Spring Meeting is scheduled for Friday, May 4 at Menchey Music in Wyomissing at 9:30. We have guest speaker, Amy Groh lined up for the meeting. Amy is a Mental Health Specialist and she will be presenting on the services Service Access Management provides and how to better guide our students who encounter anxiety and a range of mental health illnesses.

This year is an election year for the board of RMTA. We have open positions available for President and Vice President.

The President oversees meetings, organizing the calendar, periodic newsletters and communicates with the webmaster to keep the website updated.

First and Second Vice President co-chair festivals and student recitals. The VP will also be responsible for reserving dates and contacting venues and judges prior to the events.

Please consider these job positions. We have a great association that promotes and supports music and music education in the community and we take great pride in being able to provide ongoing performance and education opportunities for our students. Being on the board is a great way to make connections with other teachers and get involved in some of our events! I have found great value being on the board and look forward to helping our future President.

If you are interested in these job positions please RSVP by April 15, 2018. Feel free to contact me about any positions and thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Dorinne Bilger
